Van Rodionov from Ukraine began his musical activities in 2009 with a strong interest in electronic music genres such as Chillout, Lounge, Ambient, New Jazz, Downtempo and Ethno music. He soon started writing and producing his first works which were released on his debut „Insomnia“ and further albums „Our Illusions“ and „Romantic“.
Van also participated in collaboration projects with other electronic musicians such as Pag Joint, Mr. Disclaimer and Gray Pilgrim.
He contributes to several radio programs, mixes and compilations and keeps on developing his styles, always aiming on supporting the musical trends and their cultural values within the electronic music genre.
Van’s new EP „Sentimentos Bossa Nova“ is dedicated to Brazilian music and dance culture, creating wonderful atmospheres to travel, party and relax on the white sand beaches of this hot-blooded country and anywhere else. Traditional guitar themes meet lush electronic beats and cool vibrations. Lemongrassmusic are glad to present this groovy and very melodic work towards the opening of the summer season 2013.
