Mirage Of Deep (alias Nacho Ferrer) from Alicante (Spain) celebrates its 15th anniversary with the label Lemongrassmusic this year. This Gold compilation titled “The Best Of Mirage Of Deep – 15th Anniversary” consists of 21 remastered tracks, carefully selected from the high amount of Mirage Of Deep works. Also the sequence of the tracks has been meticulously cared for to obtain a pleasant sound fluidity for the listener traveling within numerous styles, from Chillout, Ambient and Nu-Jazz to Downtempo and Lounge.
It’s worth highlighting the track “Little Things” which was previously unreleased and also the new version of “Sudden Flight” that Mirage of Deep has adapted to the motive and impulse of Maestro Vangelis, who died in 2022. Nacho wants to give him this tribute with respect as he has always been an unconditional follower since his childhood.

Mirage Of Deep (from Alicante, Spain) present “Signs Of Heaven”, their 9th studio album, and once again bring us closer to music with soul.
Five songs make up this album, and the imagination and feelings flow with passages, sound atmospheres and “New Age” melodies accompanied by current electronic sounds.
The album begins and ends softly with “Space Opera” and “Behind The Door” respectively, while the second and third songs “Waves Of Mind” and “Souls Kingdom” are more vibrant and exuberant. The fourth song, “Lost Island” is a vocal work that manages to uplift us with its ethnic instrumentation and folk chants.
The production highlights the use of a 432 Hz tonal scale as in some tracks included in the album “Subliminal Perception”, with the intention of perceiving the music with the original classical frequency as it was composed until the 20th century.
All together it conveys an emotional state of freedom where we can relax, escape, and even increase extrasensory perception. Fresh, contemporary sounds designing diverse atmospheres meticulously produced by Nacho Ferrer.

Mirage Of Deep are back with their 4th longplayer “Subliminal Perception”, released on Lemongrassmusic. An album that follows the successful dynamics of their previous works, with an Ambient- Chill sound adorned with atmospheric passages and ethereal harmonies. The collaboration of musicians and soloists has been crucial in determining the dynamics and the expected philosophy throughout the whole LP.
Once again the result is an album with a variety of details in the production and careful composition blending electronic and acoustic elements. One of the main features that has to be mentioned is the tuning of some tracks to 432Hz, as it was applied in the past with classical music. Many studies show that a 432 hz tuning is more complete and placid for the listener. “Subliminal Perception” revokes that idea and delivers an assortment of songs with the intention to immerse us into a unique sound experience and reach sensations beyond the material realm.

Mirage of Deep take us on a journey through soundscapes where what we listen helps us to understand the world that surrounds us. Once we have embarked in that musical journey we learn to identify the sound as a natural therapy that produces a state of mind in which our own emotions arise through an easier way.

As the name suggests, Mirage of Deep evokes through a soft and calmed way the harmonies where the spirit is emotionally fulfilled in the deepest. The long awaited new LP, Northern Lights shows once again that unique style with several soundscapes which will remain reflected on our inner selves in a peaceful and serene way. Tracks range from “Restless Soul” and “Totality” with David W. Phillips’ voice; or “I Hear Dreams” with Améthyste Spardel, where it is set up the perfect fusion between warm vocals and strings; to “Heroes”, a version of David Bowie’s song where the majestic Víctor Esplugues’ guitar and Candela Ghelfi’s voice form an emotive combination.

As usual in many productions of Mirage of Deep, we could not elude the magnificent performance of Josephine Sweet in “Melodies of Beyond”, which highlights a fusion of atmospheric sounds, jazz and swing. Among the more ethnic tracks there are some remarkable collaborations with Ramón Riera (flute), and Jaime Fraj Pla (bansuri), making Northern Lights a well crafted album that nobody should miss for perceiving what music may really offer us.

Northern Lights is the 3rd full length album by Mirage of Deep on the label Lemongrassmusic.

The appointment between Mirage of Deep and their new work “Talking Earth” has created a sense of willpower attaining and excelling the desired intention.
This new project has been built up with different styles – Lounge, Ambient, Downtempo, Acid jazz – and some personal taste; all expressed in every song of the album.
Mirage of Deep is always aiming to merge different techniques, using for this purpose electronic synthesizers and acoustic sounds.
It’s also important to bring up the collaboration of Mirage of Deep’s marvellous friends on certain pieces, naming Ramón Riera, Josephine Sweett, Soulfeenix, Demetrio Reig, Silvia Pérez, Nuno Alves and Juanki Zapata.
The intention of “Talking Earth” wasn’t planned at all. Instead, it has been a spontaneous and fluid realization, shaped with different patterns of some cultures over the planet.
Mirage of Deep has made this new product with the intention of showing the listener the visualization of a whole created atmosphere.
The realization of each work has been achieved in such a way so that the listener could see shapes, textures and spaces; sensing emotions and transposing them in an immersed world.

Lemongrassmusic is proud to present an amazing new project from Spain. The sound of Nacho and Juan P. aka Mirage Of Deep is based on deep house, acid jazz, funk and downbeat music. Influences can be singled out from Moby to Bjork, from Dead Can Dance to Vangelis, and from St. Germain to Thievery Corporation. Based on their long experience (their productions range back to the 1990s) they have formed their highly distinguishable sound and tonality, an ocean full of colours, consistency, depth, but most of all, warmth!

As Nacho and Juan P. seek sensitive vibrations in their productions they collaborate with musicians on acoustic guitar and saxophone but also include two great female singers to embark on their emotional journey. Whereas Josephine Sweett’s heart belongs to jazz, acid jazz and funk, Rosalba Gandia was trained in classical singing and later got her final touch by starring in numerous orchestras. Their different voices allow Nacho and Juan P. to get the perfect voice for the varying moods of their tracks. All saxophone extavaganzas come courtesy of Ramon Riera while the important contribution of the acoustic guitar is delivered by Nacho Romu, a childhood friend and much requested studio musician whose track “Dreams” has recently been added to “Café del Mar Vol. XVI”.

On the downbeat side, you best start with “Mon Amour de Paris”, a jazzy walk through the streets of the capital of love or go straight to “Song For the Kingdom of Inside”, a mirage of depth and innervision. “Magic Dawns” then follows as the mellow awakening and a truly blissful experience. On the uplifting side, you may start with “An Afternoon of August”. Carried by piano keys like a string of shining pearls, the voice of Josephine Sweet makes you feel like walking barefoot on sunhine. The following “Soul Chill” is pure soulful house, powered by a great saxophone and a sexy voice. The purring groove of “Pussy Cat” gets you really going with some fine organ frenzy and an overall vibe that is both playful and joyful.
