Michael E – A self-taught sonic painter who fell under Motown’s spell as a child, and later embraced his studio as a canvas. Since 2006 he has crafted over 30 albums and appeared on thousands of compilations, each track a delicate brushstroke of emotion and atmosphere.

Tim Gelo (Velvet Dreamer) – A trumpet and flugelhorn whisperer trained at Berlin’s prestigious Hanns-Eisler School, who drapes his jazz heritage across electronic frames and World-Lounge rhythms .

Michael’s lush synth scapes unfurl like petals at dawn, while Gelo’s trumpet weaves golden threads of warmth and reminiscence, transforming old roots into new blossoms.
From the dreamy title track – first unveiled on the album „Lost in Thought“ in 2021 – to the twelve-fold tapestry now complete, Sweet Dreams is a palimpsest of memory, where every note softly echoes the past yet shines freshly under the night sky.

Lemongrassmusic present the collaboration album of UK born and Mallorca Island-based Chillout music producer Michael E and Berlin-based Trumpet player and producer Tim Gelo (alias Velvet Dreamer). The idea for the album „Bring It Back“ accrued when the two musicians became aware of the sheer number of beautiful collaboration tracks that they had been creating during the past few years.
Michael has been loving Tim’s playing ever since he knew him and after they started their working partnership he felt that it always takes his music to another level.
Tim is playing Trumpet, Muted Trumpet, Flugelhorn and Whisper Trumpet.
The 11 tracks have a very relaxed and emotional feel and were created to make you enjoy the present moment and the place where you are.
