The album “In Bossa Nova Colors” by Artur Bayramgalin is a collection of six different shades of Bossa Nova style.
The album opens with the track “The Color of Joy,” featuring a positive melody in a calm and soothing tempo. The theme, played on the flugelhorn right from the start, continues throughout the composition in variations with the guitar and improvisations on the flugelhorn, creating an incredibly cozy and warm atmosphere with its sound.
The next track, “Pink Pearl,” leans more towards Smooth Jazz Bossa. The sounds of the saxophone, imitating the noise of the waves and the cries of seagulls at the beginning, create an atmosphere of peaceful relaxation on the ocean shore. A gentle female vocal performs the main theme of this track. The guitar and saxophone take turns playing a simple melody in the traditions of Bossa Nova.
“Blue Morpho / Butterfly” is a new version of the song “Butterfly” by Artur Bayramgalin, done in the style of Acid Jazz Bossa. The bass riff at the beginning sets the rhythm for the entire composition. The bright flute melody is followed by the main theme on the guitar, which sounds completely new in this version. The trumpet adds passion and a touch of madness, typical of the Acid Jazz style.
You can unwind with the composition “Noche Blanca en Ibiza,” as the name itself suggests. A warm summer night in Spain, the sounds of the accordion and guitar, a pleasant melody – everything sets the mood for relaxation.
A lot of drums, double bass, Hammond organ, and guitar – it’s not often that such a combination of instruments is heard together in the Bossa Nova style. All of this can be heard in the track “Viva Magenta.”
“Nice Morning Bossa” is a new interpretation of the track “Nice Morning” by Artur Bayramgalin. The composition creates an atmosphere of early morning, the first rays of sunlight that, like the lyrics of this song, fill you with warmth and positivity for the day ahead.

The label Lemon Jazz Records (a sub-division of „Lemongrassmusic“) present the new album by composer and producer Artur Bayramgalin.
All compositions on the 5 tracks EP are united by one tonality: G major, hence the name of the EP “Journey To The Sol” (→ Journey to the sun), since the note “G” is also known as „sol“ or „solis“ which means “sun” in Latin.

Despite being previously released throughout the past years, all compositions on this album are now united by a new concept and sound. Evgeny Romanov has contributed a good portion of innovation by adding playful clarinet phrases and licks to each track. Stylistically, the album can be attributed to „World Music“ or „Contemporary Jazz“. The main instruments are guitars, piano and clarinet, but each track also has a lot of percussion with the addition of drums and bass guitar. Each track has a unique ethnic coloring, where you can experience Scandinavian, Brazilian, African and Japanese motives.

The listener gets to visit different parts of the world. The first composition called “Perfect Day” creates an atmosphere of a truly perfect day to start our journey. “Over The Clouds” is like an unforgettable flight over the African continent. “Islands” evokes images of a trip through the fjords of Norway. Feel the cold beauty of the Scandinavian countries ! The subsequent “Sunny Kiss” creates a relaxing vibe to meet the magical sunset on the Brazilian coast. The last track “Cradle Of The Earth” is an inviation to enjoy the dawn in the land of the rising sun. Have a nice trip!
