Daniel Voss is one of the Voss brothers behind the label „Lemongrassmusic“ and he is known for his music projects Five Seasons, Green Empathy, Yin Yand Yang and some more. He is also part of the projects Weathertunes, Lemongrass and Jasmon in collaboration with his brother Roland Voss.
Daniel has founded the Neo-Classical / Ambient project „Slow World“ in 2013 which is dedicated to the slow movements of life – the deep and silent enjoyment of the beauty and magnificence of our world and the whole universe.
The piano is one of the backbone and main instruments of his music, underlaid with delicate pads, subtle atmospheres and warm cello and violin arrangements.

After releasing 5 EPs Slow World presents the first longplayer album “Kanji” in 2022.

Leaves

Ginko

Release date: July 28, 2023 – Slow World’s music is often considered a perfect soundtrack for escapism and inner travelling. The music on „Ginko“ mostly consists of traditional Japanese and Chinese instruments (Koto, Erhu, Shakuhachi, Yangqin, and others) towering on subtle Electronic Ambient carpets and warm Cello and Violin arrangements. The music was made to help achieving a state of deep relaxation, joy and happiness. It evokes images of old, natural places, sanctuaries of the far East religions and the ancient and modern cultures of Japan, China and India.

Cho

Release date: April 21, 2023 – Just like the previous album „Kanji“, released in early 2022, these 12 tracks on the new album “Cho” take you to Japan again – the country of the rising sun. Slow World’s music is often considered a perfect soundtrack for escapism and inner travelling. Release date: August 12, 2022 – This 7th release by Slow World comes with 6 tracks that take you really far away – a perfect soundtrack for escapism and inner travelling. The music on „Noir“ is a Neo-Classical approach to Ambient music sometimes reminiscent of Nordic Jazz influences. You will find beautiful choir arrangements accompanied by sublte Electronic Ambient carpets and warm cello and violin arrangements.
